LERG Rate Center Abbreviation
This is the LERG (Local Exchange Routing Guide) abbreviated rate center of the NPA/NXX
combination entered.
Rate Center
This is the full name of the rate center listed in field 1 (not abbreviated)
Locality Name
This is the locality of the NPA/NXX entered. It could possibly be different than
the rate center. For example in larger cities like New York, the abbreviated LERG
rate center could be NWYRCYZN01, but the locality could be New York or Manhattan,
etc.
State
This is the state abbreviation of the rate center listed in field 1
LATA
This is the LATA number of the rate center listed in field 1
OCN
This is the OCN (Operating Company Number of the NPA/NXX entered. In other words
the assigned ID of the company who owns the NPA/NXX
OCN Name
This is the actually company name of the 4 digit OCN code in the OCN field.
OCN Category
This is the category of the OCN listed in the OCN and OCN name fields. Below are
some common entries:
RBOC - Regional Bell Operating Company
ILEC - Incumbent Local Exchange Company
CLEC - Competitive Local Exchange Company
DID available
Yes/No - This field tells you whether or not Momentum can supply a DID for the
rate center of the NPA/NXX entered. If Yes, Momentum can provide a DID for this
rate center, If No, Momentum cannot provide a DID for this rate center.
LNP Capable
Yes/No - This field tells you whether or not Momentum can port (LNP) numbers matching
the rate center of the NPA/NXX entered. If Yes, Momentum can LNP DIDs matching
this rate center, If No, Momentum cannot LNP DIDs matching this rate center.
IBBS DID Available
Yes/No - In certain cases, Momentum cannot offer a direct rate center match for
the NPA/NXX entered. However, Momentum may be able to offer a DID that is “local
to/from” the rate center entered. In this case, this field tells you whether or
not Momentum can provide a “local” rate center instead of an exact rate center
match. If Yes, Momentum while not able to provide an exact rate center match,
can provide an alternate local rate center. If No, Momentum cannot provide a local
rate center to the rate center entered.
IBBS Local RC Available
This is the actual Momentum Local Rate Center referred to in the “Local Rate Center
Available” field. This field only applies when Momentum cannot provide an exact
rate center match to the NPA/NXX entered.
Fax Capable
Yes/No - This field tells you whether or not the DID Momentum can provide for
this rate center is T.38 capable. T.38 is a more reliable method of sending and
receiving faxes over VoIP. If Yes, the rate center of the NPA/NXX entered is T.38
capable and will be more reliable for fax services. If No, the rate center of the
NPA/NXX entered is not T.38 capable and fax services will not be as reliable over
VoIP and will be totally dependent on the quality of the end users network connection.
Inventory Avaliable
Quantity - This field tells you the number of DIDs Momentum currently has in
inventory that match the rate center of the NPA/NXX listed.
Managed Modem
Yes/No - Momentum offers Managed Modem (wholesale dial up internet service) for
certain rate centers. This field tells you whether or not Momentum can provide
Managed Modem service for the rate center of the NPA/NXX entered. If Yes, Momentum
can provide a DID for Managed Modem services for this rate center. If No, Momentum
cannot provide a DID for Managed Modem services for this rate center.
VoIP
Yes/No - This field tells you whether or not Momentum can provide a DID for VoIP
services for the rate center of the NPA/NXX entered. If Yes, Momentum can support
VoIP for this rate center. If No, Momentum cannot support VoIP for this rate center.
