Provisioning a New Customer and Telephone Number

As a customer service representative, you are responsible for placing orders for new customers and provisioning their accounts. The following illustration walks you through the process for provisioning a new customer.

You will either be speaking to a prospective customer on the telephone or completing a paper order that was filled out by a colleague.

NOTE: The lessons in this module assume the prospect would like a new telephone number. If the prospect wants to use his or her current phone number, you will need to submit a request to their current telephone carrier to transfer the number. This is explained in the module, Transferring a Telephone Number.
